Hi Chelsea,

I never met you, but I found this website two nights ago and I read through everything here. I imagined what a great person you were, and I cried for you, just a little. Maybe I'm too emotional! But you reminded me a lot of a girl I knew in middle school.

Today, I found out that a boy I was good friends with in high school committed suicide.
I thought of you, and how similar the two of you were. He was always joking around -- he was so smart and so skilled at whatever he set out to do. He had tons of friends, struck up awesome conversations, had insanely interesting viewpoints, and was just all-around great. Just like I imagine, from what I've read, you must have been like.

So why? Why would you do it, Chelsea? And why would he?

I wish I could understand, but I never, ever will. And maybe that's the part that hurts the most -- knowing that he's gone forever and there's that part of him we never knew and will never get the chance to know.

Rest well, Chelsea. And if you see my friend, tell him I said hey.

Seems like yesterday you and Evan were shaming me into quitting skateboarding. When I'm missing you, I pull out my yearbook and see us together looking 'most outrageous.' Good days. Love and miss you, Chels.
