Hey Chelsea, i just wanted to let you know that we all miss you very much at Asheville High...espically the thatre department. Mrs. Breland started a foundation in your memory. its not much, just a little something for people to remember you by. you were such an amazing person, you are truly missed by all of us...even those of us that never got the chance to get to know you that well. We finished our play writing unit and i thought of you and your wonderful monolouge that i love soo soo soo much. we are focusing lights on Monday and i thought about you and the lighting for regarding electra. the show was beautiful, but what am i telling you for, we all know that you were there in spirit. Every tme i think of you, i see you in a gorilla suit fighting crime on the morning announcements. I miss you chelsea. we love you. Love always, Nanette

I am leaving for TN and VA today and know that I will not have a computer around again for the break (probably) so I wanted to go ahead and write. I know that the feast in Heaven has already been amazing.. but this Thanksgiving I am going to change my perspective. I want this Thanksgiving to be more about being thankful than the actual Turkey haha I just wanted to remind you of how thankful that I am of your presence in my life and for the memories that we got to make. I also wanted to thank you for allowing me to be able to put life into a new perspective- to always appreciate the smaller things and to be able to SMILE. I've been thinking of you quite a bit today and wanted to let you know how much I truly miss you. I was thinking the other day about when we used to play softball together. One of my greatest memories of your humor comes from the day we were in Sylva at Mark Watson field .. playing my last games (as a senior). NB was playing Avl and if we won to you guys we were to play Enka as our last game. Anyways- everyone was in position to play, NB up to bat and Avl in field .. but we couldn't start without you. You were catching that game and no one could find you so we sat around waiting for you and .... finally someone saw you in a nearby tree- you were watching us the entire time while we searched frantically for you. SILLY- Anyways- just makes me think of how it all is now. Sometimes I feel like we are searching for a part of you constantly and you are just sitting in Heaven watching us because you know that no matter how much we search, you are always there. I love you darlin- Miss you much.

Yesterday spending time with Mom and Dad without you for your birthday was way too weird. But, I know that you still had a great celebration with everyone up in heaven. I miss you more than ever! I love you lil' sis.
