I only met Chelsea briefly but thru friends of hers that I work with in theatre and at my church, I saw what an impact she had on so many lives. I applaud Julie for maintaining this site as a tribute to Chelsea and a resource for anyone that may feel alone. As a mother of an almost 13 year old and a 6 year old daughters, I am keenly aware of the pressure kids, especially girls, are facing these days. It was a pleasure to meet Julie and Chelsea's father the other night. I wish I had known Chelsea better.

Got here by accident this morning. Touching site, even I never got chance to meet her. I work as a psychologist in Finland, doing suicide prevention amongst young people. It's sad how some fantastic and thougtful youngsters just can't see there quality that everybody else can see in them.

Just don't listen to that voice in your head that tells you you're nothing. It's not you, it's the voice of depression. And: It's the biggest lie you've ever heard!

Amy from Australia writes:
I stumbled across this site by accident, but it's had a profound impact upon me. I am a girl Chelsea's age and I have lost a friend to suicide and experienced depression myself. If only we could realise how many people we touch in our lives; if only we realised how many people in this world love us. If only we realised that there is always hope. I would not have lost a loved one, and you good people would not have lost this obviously beautiful girl, Chelsea. This site has stirred up a lot of emotions for me. I feel sadness and loss, but also a sense of calm. This is a beautiful site and you've done a fantastic job remembering Chelsea. I wish you comfort, love and hope throughout your loss.
